Privacy notice

Last updated 25 October 2026

This notice explains what personal data the FlyBees website at flybeesapp.com collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. The FlyBees app is not released yet. It will have its own privacy notice when it is.

Who runs FlyBees

FlyBees is run by Het Dave, an individual based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. FlyBees is not a registered company. In this notice, “FlyBees”, “we” and “us” mean Het Dave.

For anything about your personal data, write to [email protected]. Het Dave reads and answers these messages.

What we collect, and why

When you join the waitlist

  • Your email address.
  • The date and time you joined.
  • The consent wording the form showed you.

We use your email address to write to you about FlyBees, for example to tell you when the app is available. We keep the date, time and wording as a record of your consent. We use your address for nothing else, and we never sell it or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

The form does not ask for your name, and we do not record your IP address with your signup.

When you email us

We receive your email address and your message, and use them to reply to you. We keep the correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with what you asked.

When you visit the website

The website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver its pages and protect it from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, your browser type and the pages you request. FlyBees does not use this data to identify you. The website runs no analytics and no advertising, and loads no scripts, fonts or embeds from other companies.

The website sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to check that a visitor is a person rather than a bot.

The blog’s search runs in your browser, and the words you type are not sent to us. If you open or share a search address, such as /blog/search/?q=lisbon, that address reaches Cloudflare like any other page request.

Who processes your data for us

  • Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the website, stores the waitlist and forwards email sent to [email protected], on our behalf and under its own security and privacy commitments. Cloudflare may process this data in data centres outside India. Its privacy policy explains how it handles data.
  • Our email provider receives the messages forwarded from [email protected], so that we can read and answer them.
  • An email sending service, if we use one to write to the waitlist, will process your address on our behalf for that purpose only.

How long we keep it

  • Waitlist: until you ask to be removed, or until FlyBees stops writing to the waitlist, whichever comes first.
  • Emails you send us: for as long as we need them to deal with your request.
  • Technical data: Cloudflare keeps its own logs for limited periods, as its privacy policy describes. FlyBees keeps no copy.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct it or bring it up to date;
  • delete it, which also removes you from the waitlist;
  • stop using it, by withdrawing your consent. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it, and does not affect what we did before you withdrew;
  • let someone else exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.

Write to [email protected] from the address your request is about. We reply within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. Depending on where you live, you may also be able to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Children

The waitlist is for people aged 18 or over. If you are under 18, please do not join it. If we learn that we hold a child’s personal data, we delete it.

Security

The waitlist is stored in a Cloudflare database that only FlyBees can access, and every page is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you, and the Data Protection Board of India, as Indian law requires.

The law we follow

We handle personal data in line with Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Changes to this notice

When this notice changes, the date at the top changes too. If a change affects how we use the addresses on the waitlist, we will write to the people on it before the change takes effect.
